Remote Support is basically an IT Tools in the form of software which allows an IT Technician to support a remote computer via the Internet. The technician can perform a variety of tasks like they were actually in front of your computer.
Basically you'll be invited to connect to the IT Technician Console. This will be in the form of either a link on a website, email invitation or even directing you to a web URL. Then you'll download and run the remote support software. Once you've accept the screen sharing and remote control request the IT Technician has full control of your computer. You can revoke access at anytime.
We use a Tool called Zoho Assist. It is totally secure as they use the SSL/256-bit AES encryption protocol. It is the same standards that online banking and payments use. You'll be prompted to run a light-weight program after you've accepted the invitation.
You'll get in contact with us to arrange a remote support appointment. We will then schedule this and send you a reminder via email. At the time of your appointment we will call you and send you an email with a join link. We will talk you through the process of connecting to us.
